How
the Vatican supported the development of Fascism and protected
the escape from its militants!
A little more than one year ago, on the basis of American law
defining the free access to the documents and files, an ex-prosecutor
succeeded in gathering in the United States a whole series of
documents of files and testimonies which update the determining
part played by the Vatican in the consolidation of the fascistic
power, the active participation of the ecclesiastical body in
the fascistic government of Yugoslavia and the pontifical protection
of important fascistic leaders in exile. The channel ARTE, broadcasted
the result of this research in its program "Wednesdays of
the History ".
The Kingdom of heaven, idealized purification of the evils which
overpower the real man, clashes once more with its disaster reality.
Whereas the bloody participation of the Church in general and
the Vatican in particular seemed to sink into oblivion as to what
they named the evangelisation of the " savages ", with
open repression at the time of the Enquiry, with the industry
of war... these holy institutions, immaculate of every terrestrial
sins, representing of God on earth... are once more pointed at.
Denounced as organizing directly the massacre of men whom it claimed
to lead on the way to redemption little before known as the Second
World War, the Church is also shown to have protected the fascists.
Peace with men of goodwill shows its true face: intransigent and
terrorist defence of the total interests of the capital. Definitely,
the oscillation between Fascism and anti-Fascism is a practice
which did not solely compromise the terrestrial institutions but
also those of the skies. And this is fraternally unified that
they all took part in the massacre of our class.
Confronted with the most important revolutionist vague of the
history of our class, between 1917 and 1923, the Very Holy catholic
institution (true State among the other States), the Vatican at
the head, takes the initiative to fight against what it calls
the communist danger. Since 1920, it organizes groups of action
of which the general structure will be called: INTERMARIUM. This
initiative could count on the participation of notorious fascists.
The British and French secret services was also implied in INTERMARIUM.
The groups composing this organization were defined openly as
anticommunists and their declared objectives were " the mobilization
of the catholic organization in the fight against Communism "
(Pie XI) and the creation of a catholic network in all Europe
to face the communist danger developed on the continent following
the insurrectionary process in Russia.
The holy war did not save any effort and did not refuse any alliance
to arrive at its ends. Thus for example, at the dawn of known
as the Second World War, a sinister figure makes his appearance:
Ante Pavelich, well-known nationalist for his terrorist campaigns
in Yugoslavia little before the war and who, taken refuge in Italy,
was judged by contumacy. With the protection of Mussolini and
the blessing of an ecclesiastic of great holiness, the father
Draganovich, Pavelich organizes the famous Oustachis: military
groups involved with the attack of the centers of power. The opportunity
arises in ' 41 when, thanks to the support of the murderous bombs
of Hitler, they can enter to Croatia and organize a nationalist
government of fascistic type. Thus begin, in Croatia, 4 years
of opened terror, with concentration camps and other Christian
kindness.
Humane charity joins with the armed bands to convert heretics
to Catholicism. Priests bless these special bodies and their crusades/pogroms
carried out using guns, grenades and scraping-knives (symbol of
the Oustachis). The Vatican offers its support to the new government
and a Holy Franciscan priest named Commander of the croatian concentration
camp. Members of the clergy take part as civil servants in this
camp, others are named members of the Parliament, the monasteries
are given to Pavelich to install true military bases there. Franciscan
monks take an active part in the military campaign and crucify
heretics... the holy war is organized and with all the necessary
means: a nationalist and openly racist ideology, masses, the Gospel,
the cross, canticles full with enthusiasm... like during the Enquiry.
The catholic-nationalist terror which develops in the name of
Christian charity in Croatia is so brutal that according to sources
of the time, updates at the time of this investigation, the Nazis,
the fascistic soldiers and the SS themselves were said shocked,
nauseated by the methods of torture, the massive assassinations
and other cruelties in force... And as if all that were not sufficient,
after 10 months of opened terror, the regime of the Oustachis
will receive the blessing of the Catholic, Apostolic and Roman
Church: the representative of the Vatican is in the forefront
at the time of the official inaugural ceremony of the oustachi
Parliament and the pope Pie XII receives Pavelich twice. Montini,
which is then a secretary of the Vatican and which will become
soon the pope Paul VI, in thanks of the ecclesiastical services
given, also receives this child of God who is Pavelich. But these
directors of innocent and Christian hearts do not give up therefore
the occasions to find themselves at the sides of their terrestrial
brothers: the organization of the Kingdom of heaven needs many
arrangements, supports, participations...
Once the war finished, Christian charity must adapt to the new
tasks imposed by the Kingdom of heaven: it is a question of organizing
the escape from the most known fascists and of finding a place
of reception for them. With this intention, it can count on the
support of the services of Western information and their States.
One thus creates the very humane RATLINES (code name meaning "
the network of the rat " assigned by the State North-American
with the network built by the Vatican) intended to facilitate
and organize the protection and the escape of souls as Christian
as that of Klaus Barbie (who emigrates in Bolivia), Adolf Eichmann
(who succeeds in going to Argentina), Josef Mengele, Walter Rauff,
Gustav Wagner, Franz Stangel... Our famous Pavelich on its side,
accompanied by thousands of Oustachis, goes to Argentina thanks
to this same network. Many were those who used the services of
RATLINES. To understand how this network functioned, we will be
satisfied here to follow the way borrowed by Pavelich - it was
not to be very different from the course of his other fascistic
friends and we will also put thus up to date the determining participation
of the antifascists. The Croatian College, true staff of the Draganovich
priest, protected by the Vatican, opened all large its doors to
Pavelich and consorts as soon as it became impossible for the
British State to conceal protection that it offered to them until
there in the Austrian zones then under its control. According
to a file of the American secret services, Pavelich remained two
weeks under English protection; he then should have been moved
towards another zone of English occupation where he remained in
contact with the British secret services. The properties of the
Vatican offer refuge and protection to all these mislaid ewes,
the vehicles of the Vatican ensure their displacements, one takes
care of their safety.
The pope Pie XII and Montini encourage these activities with all
the Christian enthusiasm which Draganovich deserves. This last
one goes in the various camps, contacts the Oustachis refugees
and creates a true service of political information which will
remain in direct contact with the Vatican. Montini, right arm
of the pope to the Secretariat of State to the Humane Relations
and operational chief of this institution, as all the hierarchy
of the Vatican authorize him to use the network RATLINES to organize
the escape of those called " criminals " by the antifascists.
To hide these misunderstood Christians, we lend them immaculate
cassocks and the International Red Cross gives them forged identity
papers. The Office of the High Commission with the Refugees of
the Vatican also guarantees these false identities. In the files
of the American secret services going back to 1946 and updated
at the time of this investigation, one notes: " We distribute
forged identity papers to Oustachis. With these papers and the
backing of the Pontifical Commission one can obtain a passport
of the International Red Cross. Draganovich has the means of getting
them. "
The Vatican thus offers asylum, obtains visas and passports for
important fascists in Argentina where Peron, great admirer of
Mussolini, greets the fascists with open arms. With such supports,
the money necessary to the protection of these holy subjects does
not miss... And beyond the Vatican, many institutions of State
of the Allies also collaborate in the protection of the most notorious
fascists.
In 1945, the British and French secret services revive their relations
with the fascists. The British State which, through one of its
greater representatives, the Duke of Windsor (1), had greeted
Hitler and considered his organization of work very constructive,
supports now financially INTERMARIUM. According to the declaration
of a former Hungarian Nazi, active member of INTERMARIUM and which
succeeds in fleeing thanks to RATLINES, the British and French
secret services were indeed implied in the various activities
of INTERMARIUM and protected its agents. A station of radio oustachi
emits its programs from the British zone. Specimens of "
Free INTERMARIUM Charter " are diffused in the refugee camps
in Austria and Italy.
The United States which supports the Draganovich priest, cornerstone
of the traffic of fascists, makes agreements with him in order
to save the head of some Nazis. The CIA uses RATLINES to save
erudite and secret agents Nazis, and to bring them to the USA.
Barbie, recruited after the war by the American services, will
work for them for many years. And it is thanks to the services
of Draganovich, of the network RATLINES and the Western States
that Klaus Barbie managed to be exiled in Bolivia. Here are how
the fascists could obtain a new life and a new identity.
Peron names Pavelich adviser with safety and gives him some 35.000
visas so that the torturers Oustachis come to settle in Argentina
and create a force of shock " against Communism ".
There is nothing astonishing so that one can reproduce such information
today. One knew already the chicaneries, the oscillations, the
alliances of all these middle-class rabbles. What astonishes us
(and afflicts us), it is the facility with which the various medias
can break down these so-called revelations without causing the
least human, proletarian reaction.
Fascism and anti-Fascism have lobotomised at this point our class
that the current pope still succeeds in mobilizing thousands of
people, in deadening their mind with his celestial canticles,
his holy words and all his panoply of Christian weapons, and that
the antifascists speeches continue to have an audience whereas
it is now clear that fascists and antifascists acted in all fraternity
against the most elementary interests of humanity.
To the proletarians who still let themselves deaden by the democratic-celestial
speeches, the balls and terrestrial torture will quickly come
to point out the true reality of the Kingdom of heaven: if you
deviate of the way of the hello (read capital) you are saved with
blows of stick, if you do not understand that the celestial songs
(read the ideology of the capital) are the only ones that you
can sing, the whip will clarify your Christian conscience, if
you do not go to the mass (read to the elections, to the trade
unions) the prison will be your redemption, and if you remain
in the sin, you will be subjected to the Enquiry and will finish
in the tomb. The Church is there to safeguard your holy rights!
What the proletariat can only answer: down with the Kingdom of
heaven, our needs are terrestrial and determine us to fight for
a classless society, without money, work, a society in which there
will not be a place for fascistic Christian pity and antifascist,
a society whose negation will make emerge the TRUE HUMAN COMMUNITY.
